Practice Update - Face to Face Appointments and Under 40s Covid Vaccinations

Published 14/05/2021

We are working extremely hard to provide safe access to clinical care for all our patients

We await guidance regarding changes we need to make as we move out of lockdown, including that on social distancing in the waiting rooms. Until the NHS releases this guidance to general practice the first contact with a clinician will continue to be either by telephone or e-consultation.

The clinician will then offer a face to face appointment to you if during the consultation you both feel that it is necessary. As soon as the guidance is released we will look at implementing safe appropriate changes.

Vaccinations for the under 40s We are awaiting further information about the vaccination supplies for the under 40s. At the moment we are unable to book Covid vaccinations for this age group. Please keep an eye online for updates. Patients may be able to book appointments through the national booking service online or calling 119. Please do not call or email us to ask when you vaccination may be as we unfortunately do not have any further information.

Please also be aware that second covid vaccinations are taking place between 8 and 12 weeks. Please contact us if you get to 11 weeks and haven't heard from us.
