Flu bookings commenced for 2 - 3 year Flu Nasal Spray

Published 09/09/2020

We are in the process of calling parents/guardians of all 2-3 years old to book them in for their Flu Nasal Sprays. This year we will be offering all patients a booked appointment as we are unable to conduct walk-in clinics with the current social distancing rules.

All eligible children of school age (ages 4 years to 11 years) will be offered the Flu Nasal Spray at School and we are asking parents to sign their child up to have these through the school nurse service. They will be getting an allocation of the nasal vaccination for all school age children. As a practice we have very limited supplies and are therefore not able to do school age 4- 11 years in practice. Please contact the school if you miss the clinic at school as they will provide catch up clinics.

After this group we will next be contacting the age 12-17 year olds.

We will shortly be releasing information on how to book flu vaccinations if you are over 64 or in an eligible at risk group.

Flu Vaccinations 50- 64 year old age group

Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then.
